4 SMOOTHIES THAT PACK A PUNCH

One of the hardest things about earning, and keeping that dream body is, nutrition

 Let’s face it, food is delicious, life is there to be lived, and I will be damned if I am going to skip the pizza and ice cream.

 

So we wanted to share an little step by step on How to Make the BEST Guilt Free Smoothies 

 

SALTED CARAMEL GOODNESS 

 

1 Frozen Banana
1-2  Dates
1Tbsp Cashew butter or a small handful of cashews Coconut Water - enough to get your desired consistency Good couple of pinches of Himalayan Salt
Tsp Maca Powder
Tsp Mesquite Powder - optional
1 serving of BOOMERS Protein Powder

WHAT ITS GOOD FOR

Mesquite Powder is high in protein and contains good quantities of calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and zinc, and is rich in the amino acid lysine as well. Its low GI of 25 helps maintain stable blood sugar levels. Maca is recommended for treating depression, as an alternative to hormone replacement therapy [HRT], regulating and normalizing menstrual cycles, increasing energy, stamina and endurance, reducing chronic fatigue, enhancing libido and treating impotence. 

 

SMOOTH GREEN SPICE 

 

2 big handfuls of Baby Spinach
1/2cup Frozen Mango
3Tbsps Full Fat Natural Yoghurt
1 serving of BOOMERS Protein
Good pinch of Cinnamon
Enough Coconut H2O to get your desired consistency 1 heaped Tbps avocado

Optional – add in a tiny pinch of nutmeg and ginger

STUFF TO PUT IN

1 frozen banana
1 cup organic frozen blueberries
Half punnet strawberries
1tsp. Acai powder – optional (or any other superfood if you have) 1 tsp. Maca Powder
2 tbsp. full fat natural organic yoghurt
1/4 cup almond milk – add more if need
1 serving of BOOMERS Protein

WHAT ITS GOOD FOR

This smoothie will kick start your day full of nutrients including vitamin C for immune function, Calcium for strong bones, Vitamin E & Omega 3 as an anti-inflammatory, omega 6 for brain function, magnesium for nerve function, protein for growth and muscle repair, essential amino acids and anti-oxidants to fight those nasty free radicals!

1⁄2 ripe avocado
1tsp cinnamon
1⁄2cup frozen mango
1tsp. Maca Powder - optional 2 tbsp. natural yoghurt

Small handful of fresh spinach
1 serving of Natural Protein
Bee Pollen, Shredded coconut, a few chia seeds - to use as a topping
